This policy explains how TidyWorks Cleaning Sdn. Bhd. ("TidyWorks", "we", "us"), registered in Malaysia under company number 202401027395 (1568244-T), handles personal data collected through bikeworks.pro and in the course of providing cleaning services. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. Data we collect
When you request a quote, make a booking or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, property details and any notes you choose to share (for example, access instructions or allergy information). Our website also records limited technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited — through cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
2. Why we collect it
- To prepare quotes, schedule visits and deliver the services you request;
- To contact you about bookings, changes and follow-ups;
- To maintain service records, resolve complaints and honour our guarantee;
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations;
- With your separate consent, to send occasional service updates or offers.
3. What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not use your data for automated decision-making. Access instructions and alarm codes are stored in encrypted form, shared only with the crew assigned to your job, and deleted when your service relationship ends.
4. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with: our insurers, where a claim requires it; professional advisers and authorities, where the law obliges us; and IT providers who host our systems under confidentiality agreements. Any provider processing data on our behalf is bound to use it solely for our instructions.
5. Retention
Enquiry data that does not lead to a booking is deleted after 12 months. Customer and billing records are kept for 7 years to satisfy Malaysian tax and accounting requirements, then securely destroyed.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, withdraw consent to marketing, or ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 21 days.
7. Security
Data is stored on access-controlled systems located in Malaysia and Singapore, protected by encryption in transit and at rest. Staff access is role-based and logged. In the unlikely event of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay.
